ok...for those that are dying to know...
I am now 13 weeks pregnant, and the last about 6-7 weeks have been rough. I toughed it out the first few weeks with anti-nausea wrist bands (they didn't help, plus I broke out in a rash so I think I might just be allergic to them ha!), and homeopathic remedies (that didn't work either!). I tried eating every 2 hours...gag! I always felt like all I was doing was grazing all day long. I layed on the couch every waking moment that I wasn't at work. (let's just say that I watched a ton of pretty worthless tv). I felt so lazy. I was SOOOOOOO tired that I could have slept 20 out of the 24 hours of the day.
I went to the doctor when I thought I was about 10 weeks along. According to her I was 11 weeks along instead...yeah!!! She also gave me a prescription for an anti-nausea medication called Zofran. This really seemed to help, when one of the side-effects caught me by suprise. there is just no delicate way to put this...I was sooooo "stoped up" so to speak I thought I might die...I tried everything short of calling 911. Finally Dean & I took a trip to the "geriatric" area of the grocery store and got a product to help with these sorts of problems. Well...without getting graphic (more than I already have), things are much better now. I have cut back on my Zofran use and only use it when I think I could possibly die from the nausea. I have only vomited 2 times, but there have been MANY that I could have. It kindof ticks me off that they don't warn you about this possible side-effect when they dole out this medication. It says it right on the pharmacy info page, but I was so despirate for relief of the nausea I didn't even really read it. HMM...note to self, read the info next time.
well anyways, now that I feel like I have a little more energy, my mom and I went to target and I purchased a car seat. It was on clearance the brand is Britax. I am not really sure about it...it wasn't exactly the one I had been eyeing, but the price was pretty good, and it is very safe. If anyone in blogging land reading this knows about this seat/the strollers that can go with it, I am really open to that (hint-hint!)
baby pix

ok...here is the u/s picture. I had to take a photo of it with my camera. BTW, I used my new flash to make this photo possible, and...I love it! Plus, my often forgotten macro filters. I love those guys, but I always forget about them! grrrr.
So I will post more photos later, not of the baby though. I am working on some right now. I have 2 sessions this week, and 2 the next. So I really need to get these done! Yikes!

ok, bets...here's a pic for you
a picture is worth a thousand words...
alright blog readers, this will explain my lack of posts/pictures.
I am about 11.5 weeks along, which makes our due date Feb. 2nd. I have been feeling super sick and just really tired. We had the first ultrasound this week, but my scanner isn't working so I can get it to scan the photo in.
So yeah!!! we are going to have a baby! This is very complicated with all my eye problems but we are just trusting that this is what God's plan is and that we are ment to have this child.

My new camera has arrived. The battery has charged and I was off to play. I just took some photos of stuff around the house...as it turns out, I will definitely need to do some serious practicing. It is incredible though. It is really heavy, like, really heavy! So here are some photos with various settings but all taken with my new D300, and my 50mm 1.4 lens. I ran them through lightroom to convert them from RAW to JPEG format. Did I say I was in love???
